What to Expect During Your First Visit

  • Dr. Lang will conduct a focused review of your symptoms and medical history.
  • If you're not being seen for a dermatological condition, a diagnostic evaluation (such as an X-ray or ultrasound) may be performed.
  • Based on the findings, Dr. Lang will determine the origins of your foot or ankle condition.
  • You’ll receive a clear diagnosis and a range of treatment options.
  • Together, you and Dr. Lang will decide on a treatment protocol tailored to your:
  • Lifestyle
  • Health insurance plan
  • Budget

Diagnostic Evaluation

  • Dr. Lang will order x-rays and/or a sonogram of your foot or ankle.
  • These imaging studies are performed in-office during your visit.
  • The purpose of these tests is to locate the source of your foot or ankle pain.
  • In some cases, you may be referred for an MRI or CT scan for further evaluation.
